Favorite thing: Koli is not only a national park but also a village, and this is how it looks like in the centre of it. There is nothing essential here beside the fact that here maybe is the good place to get your supply and to do some shopping.
Favorite thing: In Koli centre of the village you can find the tourist information, there you can find and collect all the brochures and information that you might need. They can also help you with any questions you might have.
Favorite thing: The village of Koli have a nice interesting wooden church, obviously you do not make all the journey to Koli to see this church, but if you do stop by the village, maybe you should check it out, the priest was very happy to have “anyone” visiting :)
Favorite thing: Once when you arrive, you can walk up the way to the summit. The signs will show you the way, it is little summit, it is not that high and you don’t need supply with you ;-)
The national park of Koli
Favorite thing: The national park of Koli is some distance drive from Koli village itself. I am not sure how far it was but the road signs will show you the way
Accommodation: Camping or a hut
Favorite thing: If you want to stay in the national park area for more than just one day, you can use the camping areas of the national park or rent a bed from the main buildning.
