I have born in these areas. My first things I remember are about this bridge (the older one is build on 1960).
Now there is a new bridge but it's not as facinating as the older one.

What an earth is Hojo Hojo?
The name of the restaurant is based on the book "Simpauttaja" written by godfather of this restaurant: Heikki Turunen. The amusement center (dancing, drinking and accommodation) should be "every men's place" where you can come without beeing shy.
The best in Hojo Hojo is dancing area for 1000 persons and terace for over 1000 persons with all rights. There are 9 hotel rooms and 21 cabins, caravan site and "pomppulinna" for kids.
The amusement center is located besides clear water lake Juojärvi, which is tremendoues place for fishermen and you can perfectly arrive with boat or ship along water route from whole Saimaa lake area.
(Old info, to be update for season 2011 when the prices apply. Accomodation in two person room 50€/night (wc and shower). No breakfast but sauna is included to price. Cabins for two person 25€/night. No linen and breakfast but sauna is included to price. )
Dancing from May to October every saturday.
