 Yes, the word Varkaus means a theft. Why the town has that name I have no idea. Sounds really strange to me! Varkaus is a small industrial town in Eastern Finland known for the paper industry mainly.

Varkaus Airport only

 My 1st time in Finland I got a cheap standby flight (200 FIM) from Helsinki to Kuopio via Varkaus. Landing in Varkaus was great- we were flying over a lake, really close to the water, when suddenly......
