 Gili_S Says:  This is a Latin type restaurant located at the Sokos Hotel. They have those all over Finland, during the day it is really just a normal place to eat, but at night, especially at the weekend as later it gets, more crowded it is and feels like a clubbing party here.

 Gili_S Says:  This is actually the hotel bar at Seurahuone Sokos hotel. Nothing special here, very typical of impolite over drinking Finns, but the location in the centre is good and you can always continue to the hotel club at the same place.

 Gili_S Says:  This pub was recommended to me by a local institute principal. Not sure exactly why, but anyhow, this Kairo is a fun place at the north part of the city centre.

 Gili_S Says:  Hitchhiking it is not very common in Finland, but apparently it is possible, especially if you are young and beautiful LOLThis lovely girl was joining us for the road back from Kotka to Helsinki. 

Train

 Gili_S Says:  There is also this small train station in Kotka. There is not real direct connection between Kotka and Helsinki and if you use the train, it will take you more time then the bus ride and you will need to change trains in Kouvola. 

Bus

 Gili_S Says:  There is regular bus line between Kotka and Helsinki. Buses are running all day long first bus at 6:30 in the morning and last bus at 23:00. The journey takes about 2 hours.
