A graveyard in Naantali
Favorite thing: I took this picture because this graveyard is quite different from the ones I saw in other European cities and the ones we have in Mexico.... the tombstones here are quite short, they all look rather the same, are made from the same material apparently, and have plants and flowers growing up right in front of them. It looks lovely, not gloomy and sad as graveyards usually are..... of course it is the summer and everything looks bright and colorful in this season, so maybe the place is not so nice to look at during the winter.
Favorite thing: Naantali is located on the west coast of Finland not far from the city of Turku. It is mostly known as a local holiday destination with a famous spa and sandy beach.
Favorite thing: Naantali is full of the wooden houses you can see in my pictures. Just walk around the Old Town and get lost in the alleys.
Fondest memory: Watching a man dressed as superman bike around with a cuddly sheep in his bike basket. He was probably on his way to the boat with the inflatable doll! Stag nights are the same everywhere! :-)))
