Palace would be more appropriate...

Kultaranta, or Gullranda in Swedish, is the name of the official summer residence of Finland's presidents. The house was built for a local tradesman in 1916 and also includes a nice garden. You can visit it all year round on guided tours but enquire at the tourist office for times. It's otherwise best seen from a boat, or at a distance from the Moomin World. Then you can also see if the president is in residence (if the flag is up).

Spa town and home of Moomins

If Turku dissappointed me during this trip, Naantali made up for it. Positively oozing charm, not by the bus station, but by its Old Town by the waterfront. Famous for being the home of the Moomins......

Wonderful Summer Town

Naantali is a town grounded around old nunnery, it's church is still preserved. Later it has developed famous spa town on the seaside.
