Kultaranta, or Gullranda in Swedish, is the name of the official summer residence of Finland's presidents. The house was built for a local tradesman in 1916 and also includes a nice garden. You can visit it all year round on guided tours but enquire at the tourist office for times. It's otherwise best seen from a boat, or at a distance from the Moomin World. Then you can also see if the president is in residence (if the flag is up).
