This lovely cafee has full rights (beer, wine and spirits) and they sell the fishing licenses to the river. They serve lunch food also, try pizzas or what ever is on the list. If you are lucky you can sing karaoke or participate to weekly quiz and during summertime you can follow the fishing from terrace. Around the year there are special events around fishing like hole fishing competition (pilkkikilpailut).

It's a real original place and highly recommended!

Check the opening times from their web site.

    Asp 6,020 kg (13.5.1998)
    Pike-perch 6,980kg (14.6.2012)

You can by the fishing licence from cafe (Koski-Baari) and you need a Finnish Fishing licence also.

Fishing is not allowed annually from 11th Sep to 15th Nov.

    Tree Mountain - Puuvuori

This place is in the matter of fact in Ylöjärvi, but parts of the Pinsiö belong to Nokia and it might not be a big mistake to introduce this here also.

The Wood Mountain contains 10600 pines. Those were planted (1992-1996) according to golden ratio and pine apple figure. So the rows are going up to the hill like loksodrome if you know the basis of marine navigation. Every three is dedicated to some person! I have to check and find some examples later.

The plans have been made by artist from Los Angeles, Agnes Denes, and it was opened 1996. Now the trees have grown and it's more difficult to see the form unless you take a helicopter!
