This is the bell tower in fron of the old church of Parkano. This is separated from the main building. It seems that exists a strange story with this bell tower in the past. The story tells that in the day of JOhn the Baptist of 1928, a lighting stroke the bell and 1 person dies instantly. 3 more people died in the following days.

This building is located right in the middle of the road. Imagine a roundabout and imagine a building in the middle. its what happens with this museum. The town museum at the moment I was there was closed. The building looks quite old. Its construction is from rocks and the roof is from wood. This building looks god with the surrounding square.

The Parkano Church and Old Museum are very nice to see. Its old stone construction are impressive and you have at least 4 adjacent buildings to this complex. The church is right near the town´s cemitery, you just have to cross the street. The bell tower is separated from the main building, something common in Finland as I´ve already seen it in other towns.
