..go to the Pori Jazz, big jazz festival.
The Pori Jazz is a tradition, Year 2001 also brought a new dimension to the festival when the new Pori Concert Stadium was opened. The stadium is situated within walking distance from the city center and it will be the largest concert stadium in Finland offering room for 40.000 people. Pori Jazz wants to serve the audience also better via Internet and our new home pages will be introduced this autumn. Their great ambition is to carry out the widest covering jazz portal in the world within 3 years time. Pori Jazz – best feeling – unforgettable moments.

The mausoleum of Juselius. He wanted it for the memory of his daughter who died at the age of 11. It is situated in the Käppärä cemetery. The original frescos were painted by the famous Akseli Gallen-Kalliala. They got destroyed and his son, Jorma Gallen-Kallela painted them later after the original sketches.

Yyteri. Pori has the best beaches in Finland.
Yyteri beaches are 20km from the central but buses go there often. 6km of beach...
