Buses and trains come from Helsinki to Pori in about 4 hours. Unfortunately you have to switch trains in Tampere. Located on seashore, you can also arrive by a boat. Guest Harbour is located in Reposaari 30 km from city centre. Pictured the guest harbour Marina Merilokki (Marina Seagull).
Pori's public transport consists of buses often of small sizes which was the biggest surprise for me when I first moved in here. They can be as small as 12 seats :D

Getting to Pori (and out of there) is easy, by plane, by bus or by train.
Don't look for a metro, there's no such thing. There's local buses. (the ticket is about 2E) Cycling is also highly recommended. Driving in Pori is easy, though there are many oneways. Pori is such a small city that easiest way to go around is by walking. Really.

Trains are the main connection to Pori, there are many train per day from Helsinki and from other cities in Finland
