Favorite thing: This is a street in the center of Turku, with a view on the old observatory on Vartiovuorenmäki hill.
It reminds me strongly of the type of architecture that you can find in some German towns.

Favorite thing: On Vepsä island you may swim, have sauna, grill, fish and even camping in a tent or small cottage.

Favorite thing: Turku is a seaside town, although it is situating quite far from the open sea. But before it are ten thousands of islands making Turku Archipalago the largest one in the world.

Fondest memory: To get the real finnish spirit, plan your trip to include the 30th of april and the 1st of may. There is a traditional party called vappu, which is really worth seeing :)
