In all locations you will find this item available. This is a traditional coffee mug made of one piece of birchroot. It has been traditionally made in Lapland for centuries. But you must be careful, there are now some massive productions of such items and they are not the real ones. Best would be to buy it in Lapland. The are much cheaper to buy them in Lapland then in the tourist stores of Helsinki or the other big cites.

These skins can be bought at any souvenir shop around town and start at €57 euro for a smallish skin and go up from there. We got a very nice large one for €75.But beware the airport sell small ones for €95 so don't leave it until then.....

There are many spots on the road, especially between Rovaniemi and Inari to buy souvenirs, some are better then others and the more you go north sometimes the cheaper it is.

This is the traditional cloths of Lapland, beautiful if you ask me, it just that they cost so much and I haven' t bought one for myself yet. About 350 Euro

These are typical Lappish drinking cups and you can buy them anywhere in souvenir shops in all sizes and in all price categories.

A: DEET. Not environmentally friendly but it does work. I carry Off Personal wipes and a device they make that has a built in fan and covers about a 10ft area around it.
