When you drive the main road from Sauth to North of Finland, you will pass small town Hyrynsalmi. This is a place where I got to know culture and traditions of Finland. I have stayed there at least twice per year, fishing in the lake, collecting berries, skiing in Ukkohala not far from Hyrynsalmi and also going to Suomusaalmi (Amensaari) to swim in the pool.

There is a habbit to inform other drivers about reindeers on the road. You just blink your lights for the comming cars. Blinking with lights in Lithuania means police control, be careful, but in Finland it is reindeer warning.
