Rössypottu
Rossypottu, well, how would I explain it...Rossypottu is a speciality of the Oulu region, plenty of people down south of Finland don't even know what it is. Rossypottu is a soup made of potatoes, stock, pork and blood pudding. It is often served with lingonberry jam and 'ohrarieska'. Yes, I'm sure Scottish people will enjoy it, and you won't know if you don't try!! It's a bit like you either love it or hate it. Go on, give it a go!You can get rössypottu in Sokeri Jussi Inn at least. :) (Pikisaarentie 2, across the bridge from the library to Pikisaari).
