Top Oulu hotels
Go to the STAR cinema in Tuira. It is the oldest cinema in Oulu but they have excellent, very comfy old style red chairs! It is easy to sink into the bottom of them and just enjoy the film. This cinema has the athmosphere many others are missing!
I love these fountains, they are one of the icons of Oulu, and I think they just add so much into the look of the city. You find the fountains when you're passing through Tuira on Merikoskenkatu. When the nights start getting darker in the autumn, there is a light show on everynight (there's no special times, it's on all the time). The best place to see it all is on Merikosken silta bridge and they also have put some seats right next to the water. However, if you'd like somewhere more quiet, there are plenty of spots on the edges of Ainolanpuisto. Hope you enjoy!
