Hepokongas - Finland's highest (24 m) naturall waterfall - is located in the central municipality in continental Finland - Puolanka (about 155 kilometres from the town Oulu to the east).
Hepokongas is a part of the Kiiminkijoki-river. From the splash of the fall it is possible to canoe all the way to the Gulf of Bothnia, on which the river flows after about 170 kilometres.
The most beautiful side of the falls you will see in May, when water reaches its highest point, but Hepok?ng?s is magnificent all summer long.
Hepokongas is definitely worth visiting!
