Family Travel If you are travelling on summertime and are within the vicinity of the forest, take care that you DO have a mosquito spray or similar with you.
warm clothes (it can get cool during the night in the summer as well, so at least a sweater should be packed) something to keep the mosquitos away!!!
Bring a jacket. Also be sure to bring a lot of film and a bathing suit.
If in winter just bring plenty of warm layers, hat, gloves and scarf...and good boots.....In summer the weather is quite warm..
trekking shoes mosquitoes can be really annoying up there....

Q: Right - here's the brief. I've got a maximum of three days, and am going to pick up a car from either Helsinki or Tampere....
A: go to the koli national park. thats not too far so you can get to see something in 3 days, and its one of the most beautiful landscapes in finland.
