Ravintola Majakka!!! This ravintola= restaurant (you pronounce it ray-vin-to-la may-ac-ca) is situated in the middle of Savonlinna town (www.savonlinna.fi) and was my very best memory of this town so far. The service +++ , the athmosphere (quite aboriginal) +-+and the real reason , which made this place unforgottable: I lost my purse with all my personal and credit cards into their toilet. The very next day I was given it back. In Finland this is possible, bacause the people are very kind and honest. From their very famous and great tasting menu I wouldsuggest You almost anything...Do try the fish dishes.That´s Their speciality among other things (including great service).
