The architect of The Church of St Argobast (1765-1846) is Christiani
The project of building this church was an idea of J.M. Ruscher in 1763 but he was not successful and the plans was accomplished by Christiani .The door was reconstructed in 1846.
The church was also a victim of a fire in 1885.The picture of St Argobast was made again after this fire

Although the small town has nothing to attract as ruines, tumulus etc we know that this small town was always populated since 900.. After 1269 the town become a part of Strasbourg
