Inside the museum there is a small road-train for the hasty visitors...
To visit the museum and all of these beautiful cars, I think such a road-train is NOT really a great help, except for elderly and handicaped people.
But to a certain extent, I think that the quite modern road-train itself is also one of the exhibits of the museum and maybe it makes sense to take it for a first over-view, before you start exploring the museum by feet.

Have a look for my small map in order to have an idea, where to search for Mulhouse on your own map.
Mulhouse is just about maybe 25 km north of Basel / Switzerland
maybe about 50 km south of Strasbourg.
a highway takes you there, and also the french part of it is without extra fees.
Just remember : there are another 2 great technical museums not far away :
SINSHEIM - maybe 3-4 hours to drive - with the CONCORDE, her russian sister TU-144, thousands of vintage-cars, motorcycles etc.
Just have a look on my page !!
SPEYER - just 30 minutes to drive from Sinsheim - airplanes, a giant Antonov, helicopters, a submarine hundreds of vintage-cars...

a big city with a beautiful historical centre ; unfortunately, the city is full of young criminals , protected as usual by the french judges (we are in france, do not forget)
