Favorite thing: These colourful half-timbered buildings in their riverside setting are really wonderful. Some are hotels and restaurants and it would be wonderful to stay in one of them.

    Capital of Europe

Favorite thing: This is the European parlaiment building in Strasbourg. Very contemporary design. It looks almost unfinished by this is the style chosen. An eclectic mix of styles wrapped around a central atrium.

Favorite thing: Although Strasbourg is a rather big city, it still has this fabulous old city center. Do take your time to visit the cathedral and take a nice walk to enjoy the narrow streets and beautiful houses!
