Favorite thing: This is the European parlaiment building in Strasbourg. Very contemporary design. It looks almost unfinished by this is the style chosen. An eclectic mix of styles wrapped around a central atrium.
Fondest memory: Not only in the "Quartier Allemand" (German District) but also in the city centre all roads have French and German names.
Fondest memory: Where do you want to walk today? I found this confusing signpost in Petite France. There was only a crossing of two roads but the post shows ten directions.
Favorite thing: In Strasbourg you find the Councile of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights and the European Parliament.
Favorite thing: Although Strasbourg is a rather big city, it still has this fabulous old city center. Do take your time to visit the cathedral and take a nice walk to enjoy the narrow streets and beautiful houses!
Favorite thing: Go up the Cathedral Notre Dame. From here you will get unparalled views of the Alsace Capital, and feel quite dizzy.
La route des vins d'Alsace (the Alsace wine road).
from Strasbourg to Colmar then to Thann.
Fondest memory: The bratwurtz in a baguette sitting on the stairs of the beautiful Strasbourg Cathedral.
Visit the Cathedral outside (looks very big one) and inside (wonderful stained-glass windows).
