    Pack for Mid June

by mileslunn Written Jul 22, 2007

Luggage and bags: Keep your luggage that you don't need at your hotel as carrying around a lot will make you look like a tourist

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Weather is generally quite pleasant in June so in most cases dress lightly, but still bring a light jacket in case it rains.

    My booktip for Strasbourg

by miedje Written Jan 24, 2004

Miscellaneous: My booktip for Strasbourg is one to understand the Elsace and her turbulent history of war:
'Im Westen nichts neues' of Erich Maria Remarque is a classic anti-war novel which deals with the First World War. It has been translated in many languages, including English (No news from the western front).

If you're planning to visit Strasbourg during winter time don't forget to bring a real winter coat.Sometimes it is reallyyyyyyyyy cold there.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: you will find anything you want in strasbourg so if you forgot something, it is pretty easy to find it.

Photo Equipment: Lots and Lots of films if you still have a camera, or two batteries if you have a digital camera; There is a lot of pictures to take there

    Packing List

by Sjalen Updated Aug 26, 2002

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: We were lucky with the weather but I have been told by colleagues working in the Parliament that it can rain a lot. Supposedly because of the city's position in the flat Rhine valley, squeezed in between the mountain ranges of Vosges and the Black Forest.
