Favorite thing: Interesting architect style cathedral with Jesus on the top is situated in the Northern part of the city. My friend Lionel said he has doubts whether it is Cathedral but all signs in the streets told that and I remember this name. :-)

Favorite thing: Place Republique is a nice square not far from the beach. If you back is to the casino you see a steet to the right direction. If you get it you will be soon on the square. unfortunately I haven't info when the monumnt was built. During you will go along the steet to the square, enjoy houses around, they are really great.

Favorite thing: I think it was +7 around in the water in january. I asked my friend Lionel to make pictures when I stay in the water. Then I began to run out the water... You see it on the picture :-)) But in june 2006 I swam, swam and swam and I liked it.

Favorite thing: It was fantastic idea of my friends to eat oysters on the beach!!! First moment I haven't even had a thought about. It was very very amazing! People were going by and saying "Bon Appetit!". Then Lionel had a great idea to make a film "How to eat oysters" and you may watch it in the travelogue

Favorite thing: To the quay the path leads where you can see the map of the bay where Arcachon is. Besides there is glory alley of steps of sailors(I'm not sure about the name but I name it so) :-) I check my size and it seems I'm taller.

Favorite thing: The Atlantic Ocean is the must for seeing. It's bay exactly where are some sailors villages but in any case it's the ocean. Unfortunately I have been here in January and it was cold to swim :-) but my friends told me that here a lot of people have a sun bath or swim in summer.

Favorite thing: You can walk here, to and fro. Very clean and very green. It struck me especially that trees are green in January - it always struck me because I can't see green trees in Moscow in winter. This road to pier where you can observe ocean and beaches.

Favorite thing: There are miles of golden sand and the combination of sea air and sun is like a mild sedative. If you are staying longer or want to do more - pick up a brochure from the Tourist Information office (right by the train station).
Arcachon has many activities to offer, including; bird watching, boat trips, golf, paragliding, public gardens and various water-sports.
Fondest memory: THE SAND DUNE! :-)
