The church houses some old objects in its darkness but we had no literature to guide us. There were fragments of old statues of a King and a Queen and a fine statute of a Prophet(?), as well as monstrances and reliquaries (remnants of a church treasury?).
The dark 13C church interior has a vaulted nave with some Gothic style windows. The altar has a flat apse with a modest traceried window faced with colorful but not ancient glass. A few of the columns and brackets bear ancient sculpted figures similar to those on the facade.
The gallery above the portal displays a balustrade supported by a cornice of blocks . Their exposed faces are carved with varying styles and subjects with figures ranging from a hunting scene to a Siren (mermaid). They are like the works of an earlier generation of sculptors, but are amusing to study. The figures do not seem to have any programatic purpose, most puzzling.
