It is customary in Southern France for trees to be trimmed back extensively every year. I think this trimming looks ugly. I would certainly like to know (1) what trees this is done to and the (2) reason for such heavy back trimming.

Installed in full center city of Biarritz, the collection of the museum consists of more one thousand works of art, of the Prehistory on our days, representative of the regions of India, Nepal, Tibet, and China.

The collection is unique in some domains, as the folk bronzes, the Mohras (faces of divinities looking like masks) of the Pradesh Himachal, the rumals and the jewelries. Without forgetting the magnificent Thangkas (Tibetan paintings on canvas of silk) of which the collection of the Museum Asiatica is one of the most beautiful and the most complete to the world.

The Museum also puts at the disposal of his/her/its visitors, in free entry, of the exhibitions renewed temporary frequently, always on the theme of Asia.

Anytime usually between the hours of one and three is considered lunch time in most of France outside of Paris, though there are some exceptions on both sides of this, in any event in Biarritz this holds true, so realize that the shops will be closed during this time, except for most of the restaurants of course

For anyone who has never been to France then be careful when entering the public toilets, you may pass guys and girls as you walk in/out but don't panic its normal !
Me being abit shy at the time and not wanting to share my toilet with a man, crossed my legs til we got back to the campgrounds toilets ( which where seperate ! )

This country house has common features of buildings in the southwestern part of France. The roofs are made from ceramic tiles with stuccoed walls made of cement blocks.
