Had this in "Warnings & Dangers", realized it wasn't actually life threatening, so I moved it here ... Biarritz is potentially expensive!! I speak for 1999 when I was there. My facts could be outdated, so best confirm if you want facts! However, in 1999, this is how it was : We bought two pints of beer and two glasses of coca cola, and it totalled the equivalent of IR£19, ie 19 Irish pounds. You got €1.27 for IR£1 in 2002, when we changed over, that might help you work it out! Later on in the trip, we were buying pints in Prague for 15p - 25p. 100p = IR£1. Fascinated me at the time.....Other than that, Biarritz is great, if not even worth a little extra expenditure. You could day trip it, or camp it ... Leave a Comment

dont overpay
when you pay remember you do not have to pay during siesta hours. we paid for the time we wanted but the machine gave us additional time so if your clever just pay up until the time shown. Leave a Comment
