Favorite thing: As we were walking along the city, we came across this monument flanked by fountains. The fountains symbolize triumph of Liberty & the Republic and is crowned with Liberty breaking from her shackles.

Favorite thing: Bordeaux is a nice regal city. There is night live during the summer months. There is lots of outdoor small restaurants.
Fondest memory: The tramm. Our son enjoyed it so much!

Favorite thing: Another gate to the city is Porte de Bourgogne. If you cross the river along Peirre Bridge from the left side of the city, you will see the gate just on your way to the old town.

Favorite thing: Porte de Aquitaine is situated on the Place de la Victoire. The gate is an entrance to the main pedestrian street of the city – Rue St. Catherine. On the picture view is from the Victory Square.
