by nzobx French are really fond of dogs, who scatter pavements with unwanted subproducts. However, a french saying tells us that when you step one with your left foot it's a sign of good luck coming. As far as I have seen, it's overall a sign of a smelly shoe, and a sore bottom if you slip on it ! Leave a Comment

a little first aid by Mique After visiting St. Bruno's we were on our way back to the city centre. Right in the middle of the pavement there was a very small gap. Just big enough to make one loose one's balance and trip. Since the city still has a lot of it's history (the reason why i loved it so much) it also has uneven pavements and streets in many places. by lorgnierl Bordeaux is still in repair to prepare the future tramway, but even after, the strategy will be to use the public transports, so the roads are and will be shorter, and parking will be less and more expensive so if you don t want to be nervous, let the car out . Leave a Comment

The sidewalks were in VERY bad repair. But this did make for an interesting 30 minutes spent in the pharmacy. Leave a Comment

Not a danger but be careful. After got thru x ray machine and waiting to go waiting area have to go thru police. They suspect something not right with my passport and i have to wait 40 minute. I think they got not enough info or maybe my new passport is laminated by unclear picture. Not my fault because since last 2 years Malaysia introduce new style of laminate passport and make it look fade. Previous passport is better because the cover is made from clear plastic. I am confident when they check because i dont nothing wrong except visiting their country!!!. and also i already got a visa from UK consulate in Malaysia. If the pasport is fake definitely the UK consulate will refuse the visa and hand it to Malaysian authority. Leave a Comment

The hotel I said looks okay, the room looked too good to be true, it was huge, it was 48 Euros a night, twin sharing, tv, it was huge compared to our room in Paris, but we ended up having head lice and we got bitten by bed bugs.. sigh.. Leave a Comment

In the streets of Bordeaux by Klod5 Le problème des voleurs qui vous fouillent les poches sans vergogne est mondial. The problem of the thieves that searches you the pockets without shame is world. In Bordeaux, numerous strips share the "market". But it is no more no less only elsewhere. It is the opportunity for me to give back "my tricks" 1 never sign conspicuous that you are tourists ! 2 some portfolio exists, or of the purse, provide a chain (5 to 10 Euros on any market). It is a good means to dissuade the thieves (the chain is visible). 3 not to put all his money in the same place, and to separate banking cards, species, checkbook... 4 in the public transportation, not to remain to the middle, but always to get back to a baffle (or seated). Not to wait in the front for the embankment (ever no one behind you). 5 Conspicuous steps of sign of wealth in the tourist places. 6 to avoid to remain immobile in a tail or in the street.
