When, in winter, the only official nightspot in Bourdeilles is closed because there is a football match on the TV, Bobbi's bar (or Chez Robert) is there to take up the slack. Joined on to the "Tabac and Souvenir Shop", this is a curious spot that has remained virtually unchanged from the day it opened in the 1970s, as the souvenirs in the adjoining shop will attest! A terrace comprising a table and a couple of chairs and a table balances precariously on the pavement (sidewalk) outside, buffeted only occasionally by the traffic that passes through the village during the day. This bar opens at around 11am and closes at around 10-11pm when the owners (who just happen to be the parents of the barmen at the Café de la Halle) go to bed. During the day, it is populated almost exclusively by the locals, but as the evening goes on, people from all walks of life drop in. A friendly, but very French, establishment!

The only recognized nightlife in the village is the Café de La Halle, which is at the base of the fortified wall of the "old" Chateau. It is officially open from 7am until 1am the next morning (Winter) or 2am from May until the end of September. In practice, 7am is usually around lunchtime in the summer or 3-4pm at other times. Closing times also vary considerably depending on how many customers are propping up the bar. The small building seats about 30, but there is a good terrace outside which doubles this and is quite a pleasant place to spend summer evenings. The interior is decorated in the traditional 1960s French style, with lots of Formica around the bar and a hard-wearing Lino floor. The bar often plays host to exhibitions by local artists, and is a good place to meet local characters, along with a smattering of UK ex-pats. Prices start at 1€ for a café (expresso) and go up to 4€ for the most expensive speciality beer, of which there are many. The two barmen (Julien and Bastien) speak some English, on occasions.
