There was a price list available to help one make an informed choice from the stock.
I noticed that the prices were very, very reasonable.
Most wines were around the $6 (Cdn) range with the most expensive 'Grande Reserve' being at $35 (Cdn).
Not bad for great wine!!
It's no wonder the French love their wine!!
.....It's affordable and it's absolutely delicious!!!

At one side of the winery (where the wines for purchase were displayed) I noticed a most unique and interesting chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
It was made from wine bottles!!!
It had a very medieval feeling to it.
I thought it was such a great "recycling" idea, that I decided I'd try to create one when I got home...God knows I have enough empty wine bottles in storage!!
I haven't made the chandelier yet, as I tend to electrocute myself when I'm around electricity...so...
I'm working on a "cork board" using corks (from French wines ONLY!! Merci beaucoup!!),
and a "Très Chic Wine Tray" from the labels.
I love this project!! I get to drink for the sake of art!!!

I really liked this "tasting bar"! :o)
A good idea if you can't decide what to buy...especially if you've never tried the winery's products before.
I liked pretty much everything I tasted, so the decision was based more on what I could afford than what I liked.

The winery had preserved much of the wine producing equipment of the past and had them in one part of the building, similar to a museum...but not as stuffy... for the public to see.
It was quite interesting.

Before going inside the winery we had an opportunity to watch some of the local farmers bringing truckloads of grapes from their harvest and then dumping them into a large bin-type machine.
Hang around outside cave de Buzet and you'll see some of the steps that are taken to create their fabulous wine.

There were many, many barrels (or casks) of wine sitting around and aging in one part of the winery.
This area was more in the open than what I'd expected. Maybe they were waiting to be shipped out to be bottled??
I never found out if they bottled their own wine on location or not.
