Duras Warnings Or Dangers

When you get your ticket, you're handed a booklet kind of thingy with all the explenations about the castle and the histroy of it. Before this you'll find a page warning you about the fact that since the castle is so old, it's floors and stairs are very uneven. So you need to watch your step.

And so i did. At least at all the difficult places. And then i more or less ran down these stairs. because there wasn't too much too see. And i had just taken this photo.... And at a nano-second in which my attention was drawn elsewhere i steps into a sort of hollow with my left foot. Causing my left ankle to sprain and my right knee made an ugly twist. And there i lay halfway donw those steps in agonising pain... and it was 2 floors below entrance (and by now urgently exit-) level... That did cost me my mobility for the rest of the time i was in France....

So, you're warned!
