this on the wall of the Royal Gate, which is a central Royal shield with 3 heraldc lilies surrounded by the Holy Spirit Chain. Its medal is hanging and the dove sculpted with its head downward symbolizees the link between spirit and substance. Along each side of the shield, 2 soldiers are sitting on war trophies. The gate is also provided wth a rouned pediment bearing the arms of Louis the XVth.

Buil along the bank, from its corridor with loopholes, soldiers could watch the river. Underneath we can see large vaulted rooms.

This Well is in the middle of the square and its brackish water couldn't be used.
