The town of Libourne is very easy to explore on bicycle. The town is flat, at the confluence of two nice size rivers. The weather varied, on one day it was slightly cool and a tiny bit of rain, and the other it was warm and sunny. One point of caution, there are several areas of the nearby highways where bicycles are not allowed. Unfortunately, I could not figure out what the alternative way would be and not risk getting lost so I rode on on the highway anyway.
