by gwened Written Nov 7, 2013

Favorite thing: This is a must for me as a wine aficionado comes here often, its my favorite wine city in France for reasons of properties as in Pauillac.

Rumbling thru my old photos find some diverses of this town, and feel it would be nice to share it.

Walking is a wonderful pasttime and here even more so, with all the history, nice quaint streets ,bays, harbors, and buildings with history behind them

So when in Pauillac, just don't come for the wine, try to walk the town too, its great.

Fondest memory: walking the quais along the estatuary of the Gironde.

from quais to city center Pauillac Htel de Ville Pauillac the passenger port embarcadre the walkways along the quais and city center Marquis de Lafayette left for USA 1777
