At this reaurant, for 11 euros, you can have a super three course meal including wine. The fixed menu has a good selection and, in addition, they always have a dish of the day 'plat du jour'. The staff are very frinedly and helpful and the food is always good,
Favorite Dish: The lamb chops cooked with rosemary are very good. The chef will cook it to your particular liking, i.e. pink or well done.Related to:

Favorite thing: Was of course closed the day we got to Sauveterre. But since we were en route to Bordeaux, it wasn´t too much of a problem.
There is information about a route through the village. Though i´m not sure it is available in english. Duration around 1,5 hours
And there is also information about several routes through several of the surrounding villages and towns. With info about roman churches, templars churches, abbeys, bastides, water mills, museums and everything else that is worth seeing.
you can find the information office on one of the corners of the main square. Just not on the main square directly but in on of the streets that lead off the main square
