We travelled from Paris Montparnasse to Nogent le Rotrou by train, this took a little over 1 hours 30minutes. Upon arrival in Nogent we were met by the friends we were staying with who drove the further 20minutes to the village of Remalard.
We purchased our return train ticket just before boarding the train at Montparnasse with no problems...the train was headed for Le Mans.
The train was comfortable and direct, passing the palace of Versaille on the way!

Remalard is pretty remote, there isnt a train station or anything here and I think that its essential that you have a car!
Unless of course you are on a cycling or hiking holiday.
The roads are lanes and are very narrow, very typical country lanes,
