This is a fascinating museum.
It gets its name from the tank that was destroyed there by a direct hit, where the hull and a dead crewman gave the intersection the nickname "Dead Man's Corner"
Some D-Day museums can be a bit of a junk yard, but this place is set out very well. Dioramas of German occupation of the house, followed by its use as a hospital.
Upstairs the Americans have landed. You'll see the helmet of old Moe plus authentic gear worn by Richard D Winters (Band of Brothers).
All interesting, authentic and well laid out. If your looking for militaria then "gift shop" called the Paratrooper, is a emporium with loads of authentic WWII items. Not all cheap though.
There's also a German 88 outside together with a Belgium gate.
