    This is a fascinating museum.

It gets its name from the tank that was destroyed there by a direct hit, where the hull and a dead crewman gave the intersection the nickname "Dead Man's Corner"

Some D-Day museums can be a bit of a junk yard, but this place is set out very well. Dioramas of German occupation of the house, followed by its use as a hospital.

Upstairs the Americans have landed. You'll see the helmet of old Moe plus authentic gear worn by Richard D Winters (Band of Brothers).

All interesting, authentic and well laid out. If your looking for militaria then "gift shop" called the Paratrooper, is a emporium with loads of authentic WWII items. Not all cheap though.

There's also a German 88 outside together with a Belgium gate.

There is an entrance fee, discounted with the Normandie Pass.
