The Notre Dame church was built in the XVth century in the gothic flamboyant style.
The plan features a triple nef.
The inside is dark, not especially interesting in itself but fits nicely in the local atmosphere.
The church is situated at the limit of the old town, rue de l'Eglise.

This one, situated on the former college's wall (across the musee d'art naif) is dated from 1830.

Like so many villages in the area (there is a tour of them), Noyers has a recently renovated washhouse.
It's originality lies in the wooden structure inside.

A well preserved medieval village

With its medieval timbered houses (mostly fro the 15th century), Noyers sur Serein has been classified 'One of the 100 most beautiful villages in France', and yes, it's a very pretty one.
