From our relaxing picnic stop in the Morvan, we came away with two memories: the distant view of the Abbey Basilical on its hill overlooking Vezelay and the view of the 18C hump-back bridge below in the valley crossing the Cure.
Not far from the Lac des Settons, there is a nice little town with a nice church (16th century). We stayed here during our visit in May 2002.
The Settons Lake
One of the many beautiful lakes in the center of the Morvan Regional Nature Park. It was dug to raise the level of the Cure to float logs and is now the most popular of all the lakes.
