Buzz now has a daily flight to Brest direct from London Stansted. Because Buzz is a "no-frills" airline, the prices are good. Flights are usually on time but considering it is the same plane that does the Marseilles-Brest route, a delay on the arrival from Marseilles will have a knock on effect on your return flight to Stansted.
Note that those flights have been suspended for the duration of the month of April 2003 because Ryanair just bought Buzz. They will resume in May under the Ryanair brand.

We got there by train, perfect from Paris, or as we did, from any of the TGV stations along the railroad (Morlaix, St. Brieuc),
The bus or boats! Especially the last option is great! You can really travel here by using the boats to the different islands: taking a single trip to the island from one place and leaving the island towards another destination!

To Quimper - Take flight from Paris-Orly (around 80 minutes). Or take train (TGV) from Paris-Montparnasse (around 250 minutes, FF370), from Rennes (around 120 minutes, FF170).

Train is quite expensive in France but with car , it's the best way to go around (and there is a lot to see) You can find bus routes in Brittanny, less expensive but not as easy. Check train prices and timetables in Brest railway station, buses station is close to it . Staff will help with care. In town bus is the best and easiest transportation , ticket cost: 1 EUR
