Ile d'Ouessant by Toyin This is the map of the entire Island. I took this picture on the tourism office. To do this Island from Brest, you have to book probably from the hotel. To be in Brest without doing this Island is like tea without sugar..haha. Leave a Comment

Vallon du Stangalar by bzh When in Brest, you could spend all your time in the harbour, on the beach, discovering the coast around or trying out all the creperies. If you want something slightly different, remember there are a few parks right in the town. One of the nicest, which also offers amusement for children is the Vallon du Stangalar, along Rue de Quimper. Spend an afternoon there, let the kids go wild and relax. Leave a Comment

English: And don't forget that Brittany is not only about the coast... 'So don't forget to drive in the country with its huge mysterious forests and its green marais. Leave a Comment

Sunrise by Toyin To appreciate the nature of this region, one have to watch out for the nature here. The sunrise here is always a spectacle, because of the plain nature of Bretagne. Leave a Comment

Sunrise Bretagne by Toyin The nature of this region is better enjoyed when you take time with the nature. There is a feeling that is so natural, that you will not desire to leave this region, or that keep nudging you to go back. The Sunrise here is a spectacle. Leave a Comment

Lanildut and surroudings. Lanildut is the biggest sea-weed harbour of at least France, but I guess from Europe. Do not expect a large industry though.. there's a couple of special boats designed for harvesting the sea weed. There is even a big 'sea-weed conference' in summer! In the surroudings of Lanildut are several mega-lithic site, amongst which a very large menhir (8.75 meters tall). Shopping is possible in one of the very small groceries. The old lady of the grocery on the harbour side is lovely! You can get here by bus from Brest. Leave a Comment
