Going by private car is condered ideal. This is because there more things to see on the way to Brest than just the town itself. The whole of Bretagne is so lovely.

Considering the time I went there, it is nice to dress very warm. and I mean very warm. I went in mid December.

Toiletries are necesary, but can be bought on the way.

A digital camera is a must.

For winter, I dont think so. However, if you are going during summer, its nice to be equiped with camping: Beach:Outdoor Gear.

Be waterproof and don't forget the camera
  • Tip Rating:
  • The usual stuff, depending on what you do.

Even in summer, it is good to have a raincoat and a warm jumper with you. You might never use them but if you do, you'll be glad you packed them.

You can find everything locally so no worries there.

Don't forget a polarising filter. The sky can turn an amazing blue and the sunsets are unforgettable.

A swimsuit is essential, with all the associated beach stuff.

  • Bring a handy sportsbag or something like that.

Dress lightly, bring a sweater/light coat and some trousers for when the evening gets cold.

Bring along suncream and anti-mosquito spray. You will need it.

Good film for your camera is available here. Filmdevelopment is possible too, but my experience is that it's always better at home.

Take a tent or caravan with you or hire one on the spot by booking at your local travelagency.

Penser à prendre des affaires chaudes contre le vent et la pluie durant toute l'année. La météo change assez facilement.

Pas de problèmes particuliers, tout les moyens sont à disposition sur place
