Jean-François Mercier traiteur: charcuterie Traiteur Mercier

by gwened Written May 25, 2014
    charcuterie traiteur J-F Mercier

You can eat here ready made foods or take home, but I have done the take home so this is for that.
Simply because it was new in town and we try it. Not bad, good service, friendly eager new owners as the site says its a charcuterie so sausages, cold cuts etc, but also a butchery, creamery is for dairy products like yagourts butter etc, sandwiches and also it goes to the market in town on Sundays.

Jean-François Mercier, master artisan is there with wife Valérie and daughter Clémence and we spoke with them. They have the experience and the family all behind so should do good in a demanding place for excellence that is Carnac.

good for the local like us and the visitor coming for longer term in apartments. Those shorter terms in hôtels can use their sanwicherie services.

What to buy: we got our pâtes de campagne and cuts of steaks to take home. But you can have a delicious formula of sandwich, dessert and soda there

What to pay: reasonable prices for the beef and pâtes we got

Boulangerie Patisserie Chevillard: best bakery Chevillard

by gwened Written Jun 8, 2013
    chevillard boulangerie et patisserie

ok here you can have a slight lunch, nice tea or soft drinks so can be a meal, as well as take home sandwiches etc, but the main reason I stop here when in town is for the wonderful patisseries and breads.

the shop is right behind the church Saint Cornély in the bourg or town of Carnac. It is traditionally done and decorated

Since 1979, the quality of the Chevillard is a reference that many have sought, in vain, to match.it is word-of-mouth and satisfied customers who have made the reputation of old-world bread, and tradition.
The bakery was renovated in December 2008 with a luminouse decoration where you will be welcome by owner Sylvie and her staff.

What to buy: pastries and breton pastries especially, lemon tarts, macarons, all !

What to pay: the prices are standard all over the area, but normal and good deals
