    Sparr supermarket: groceries in town,Locmariaquer

by gwened Written Jun 1, 2014

always here folks can't find places to buy groceries/food here. Well every town has a city center store, sure is not your normal supermarket or hypermarket but it has all essentials to bail you out of any situation of hunger and more.

The Sparr are a chain too of small town grocery stores, and they are loaded. WE have use them all the way from north to South to the Médoc peninsula and they are good.

store open 8h to 20h Mondays to Sundays! For all your grocery needs while in town.

What to buy: food items of vacation or convenience nature.

What to pay: reasonable prices no need to get out to find others

La Trinitaine: Breton goodies and deco at la Tri

by gwened Written Sep 23, 2012

This is our favorite store all over the region, here is the town before locmariaquer at St Philibert that has nice beaches too, but its on the road D28 towards locmariaquer. The store is a factory outlet that is there is a factory right behind the store

You have all they carry here, plus cafeteria and patisserie for all the Breton goodies, a must to stop by.

What to buy: cider, beer, wine, biscuits, fish canned goods, and decoration for the house and kitchen especially a must

What to pay: higher than your corner supermarket but you are buying tradition and best brands locally made. A can of tuna wont cost 1,50 euros but 4,50 but the brand is locally done, not industrially made.
