Favorite Dish: The dining room with place for about 20 people, I think, had an open fire place where mackerels were grilled. They were so good! We washed them down with a nice Bourgogne Aligoté.
During dinner we got talking to a French couple at the table next to us. They were staying the night too, so we rounded off dinner with a final Cognac together in the lounge.
Back in 1991 we paid 456 FF (that would be 69 EUR today - 2007) for the 2 persons (menu, mineral water, bottle of wine, 3 coffees each).
