La Mie Caline: when a quick one is needed la mie caline

by gwened Written Apr 17, 2013
    La Mie Caline

This is a chain of bakeries around here I and the family enjoy it. Very well made breads with the local twice like baguette 56, and friendly service. They do formules of sandwich dessert and drink, which for a quick go are just fine.
The line of dessert is plenty too, delicious, when in town stop by or any town stop by the La Mie Caline, another gwened hangout place.

Favorite Dish: bread, sandwiches and desserts like croissants etc and formules at lunch time all inclusive of sandwich, dessert and soda drink.

traditioinal French and breton restaurant in a nice historical plaza place du Martray. the place is cozy , space very use, and the welcome and service is tops. So much we book for next weekend!
    and it was great again!!!

the deco is country breton, with the twist the receiving table and payment center is at the back. the tables are sometimes divided by a nice potted plant, with colorful vases.

The food is very good, traditional and well made. Good food, great service, and a historical area of Pontivy, simply tops.

Favorite Dish: we had steaks bavettes and fish lieu or pollock, and we had aperos and coffee as well half a bottle of muscadet as well as great goat chesse salads and a killer fish soup.

we had omelettes, steaks, flan caramel custard, and scoopsof ice cream, and coffee expresso, and beer, rosé from the Loire a bottle, porto and americano aperos, all great again,

    Resto L'Aiglon

very warms friendly service with plenty of locals, and good French food, overlooking the Castle of the Rohan, excellent location near city center. Come and enjoy French at its family best

Favorite Dish: menu du jour always with us, it changes but its the freshes at best prices. Menu Croisettes is fine as well as pizzas and galettes bretons

Plaza cafe: Watch the world go by

by illumina Written Feb 28, 2010

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Pretty close to the centre of town, it's a good location for people watching. The square opposite, usually a car park, was filled with a funfair on the day we vistied, so a bit noisy but very colourful.

Two large coffees and a hot chocolate cost us 8.10euros, and the hot chocolate was one of the best I've had in France.
