We come often here even in winter as yesterday, now the place is almost empty only the seasonal resident for winter are here and lots of locals. The trip took many twist coming in the côte sauvage (see tips) and as often the case we needed to eat.

walking around in the course of trying them all, we stop by this bistrot à vins in the Place Hoche, main square. The idea was simply awesome. Sure to come back here. Plenty of wine choices by the glass with always a wine of the day

Small place decorated with movie stars photos and american paraphernalia, great bar, one women show place at least on these days, and the service was prompt. The food was very French classic style small portions but plenty, and nice friendly company of patrons to chat about. nice afternoon in Quiberon

Favorite Dish: we had the mont d'or melted cheese with potatoes and marteaux sausage
Mont d'or and marteaux saussage soufflé. then the house burgers, for the boys, and Leffe blonde beers 50Cl, dessert were caramel cheesecakes, and expresso coffee all for 88€ for five, a good value.

La Crep': Creperie with an ambience in the centre of town

by cochinjew Written Dec 29, 2011
Various types of crepes at La Crep'
    1 more image

What is more breton that the humble Crepe? there are questions about its ancient origins, with the Dosai and Injera held up as examples. I think it is just that people at certain stage of their development had something similar to crepe and Bretons, South Indians and Ethiopians decided to keep theirs..
Quiberon is a tourist town, and starting around May until about October and especially july and august the town is choc a box full of people. At that time, most of the restaurants are open and as the cold settles in, one by one most of the restaurants close.
Even some creperies close, but La Crep' owned and served by a young couple with their collected memorabilia displayed on the walls. The usual assortment of Crepes and its accompaniments. Cider and soem wine by glasses and bottle.

Favorite Dish: I had salmon and pomme de terre on a ble noir, which was tasty, added by a sauce which was over it. for the second crepe which is the custom i had a sweet crepe with chocolate, i was told that chocolate is locally made since there are so many chocolatiers around in this small town and they keep on winning prizes too
