Quiberon has an aerodrome, where light planes can land, they are private planes that visits here. However, there are ,also, flying lessons to get your first pilots license and most important for visitors you can have first flight experience or baptism first flight here, with a nice overview of the peninsula
I saw several planes already in the air,and one activity we will take advantage of.
the webpage in contact is this flying lesson baptism outfit that works out of the aerodrome. And this is the tourist office info in FRench on the aerodrome

There is an airport at Lorient but not too many flights and the other is at Nantes pretty far to take a plane, unless you go to Paris and take the train to Auray. Otherwise, its a taxi or shuttle from these airports to Quiberon and it becomes expensive.
for info on Lorient
for info on Nantes
you then have taxis, the best known is Abaca Taxi, 24 rue des Tritons,
and last but not least, is the car, the king of the road, my favorite means of traveling. YOu have plenty of rental cars at both Auray and Quiberon, plus the airports from all major companies. You can always check on my all times car rental brokers,

However, there is plenty of parking all over the city and when the market is not on you can park right in city center by place du Varquez, just before getting to the mayor's office building, the other side. And my favorite spot is by the train station , plenty of parking for free and just walk into the town in 5 minutes. route de la gare as you drive into town on left hand side before entering the city center section.
there are trains here in summer months from Auray on the local TER line. Very popular and quaint way of riding the trains.
however, great car parking year around for free, and usually empty if in the mornings arrival, just walk down city center from here
going to Quiberon is very easy in summer, take the SNCF trains :must first go to AURAY train station (high speed train from PARIS) and then take the "tire bouchon" from AURAY to QUIBERON, it's not "fast" but funny (old french train). during the winter there are less ways to go to, the only one is still by SNCF but it's by bus and it could be long (1h or more (2 or 3h if traffic jams, usuals during the week ends) from AURAY to QUIBERON . tickets are still sell by SNCF end the bus statio is in front (15 meters) of the train station.
a ticket from auray to quiberon is about 3 EUROS
