where this shop, it is housed in a beautiful half-timbered House, offers a huge selection of products from Indian Kashmir and Tibet... But also from little India. And Yes, Bollywood fashion attracts more and more! With regard to the famous goat hair fabric (come to what is called the "Switzerland of Asia"), it comes in draperies, textile, clothing, hand-embroidered shawls. The stuff comes from the workshops of the brand Shahazaa, which guarantees traditional methods and outlawed child labour.
In this shop resembling Srinagar market (the most beautiful town of Kashmir, often compared to Venice), you will also find accessories, essential oils, decorative objects, jewellery, to brighten up your interior, relax or practise the oriental dances.
A resolutely exotic address and campaigner for ethical and fair trade. A loyalty card has been implemented: less than 20% on your twelfth purchase.

What to buy: draperies, hand embroidered shawls took us in for a shopping spree

What to pay: good prices, genuine work, and fair trade. If you want original items from the region at fair prices come here

This is a nice historical market in city center Rennes, great bussling on market day and quiet on sundays.

market day is Saturdays mornings 7h30 to 13h30 and is been doing it since 1622.
a market of producers, food artisansd and flower merchants. In 1965 the halls were modernised in its current form. It is the third market of France with 290 producers, artisans and merchants producing, with an attendance estimated at 10 000 visitors in 2009. according to the city.

    there is an underground parking!

of course, this is a city of markets, as you can see from the tourist office link, but this is the best for me.

What to buy: best is the cheeses, and sausages we found there, but it is a laberinth of goodies....

What to pay: best prices for best quality products
