The home of Rennes football club is the stade de la route de lorient.
It has recently been renovated and has a capacity of 31 000,which is not bad for a town of 200 000.
I used to always love coming here to watch stade rennais, bu would often spend my time watching the other team.

If you want to see some football when in Rennes you can watch Stade Rennais play. They are currently in the first division but are always around the relegation zone.
Unfortunantely they dont have the support some of the other teams enjoy but they do perform well considering Rennes is a small city of 200 000 people.
They have produced some decent players like Silvaine Wiltord, Stephan Givarche, and Micheal Silvestre.
Tickets arnt that expensive either, considering you pay 40 pounds in England, i used to go all the time and payed about 15 dollars for standing area
